About This Camp: The camp is geared towards raising the level of play in the Littleton, CO area for youth, middle school, and early high school players. This developmental camp will prepare the youth players for continued growth, middle school campers for high school play and prepare the early high schooled ages kids for competitive varsity play. The camp will focus on the fundamentals with an eye on advanced skills for all age groups. We will also implement a tournament atmosphere where campers will play in daily games and competitions. A camp champion will be crowned on the last day of camp in each age/skill level.

Director: The camp director is Cherry Creek High School Asst. Coach, Joe Archambault. Joe has coached at Cherry Creek for the past 3 seasons and has helped them to the state championship in 2005 and 2006.  Joe is a graduate of DU where he was a standout player. He is now in law school and grew up in New Jersey.

Portland Area Girls Lacrosse Camp

About This Camp: The camp is geared towards raising the level of play for youth and high school girls in the state of Oregon. We will focus on the fundamentals through station work and fun drills with an eye on implementing these concepts in live play. We will cover all aspects of the game including stick skills, ball movement, spacing, moving without the ball, and communication. On top of our skill development we will have a camp tournament where campers can compete in mini competitions and scrimmages throughout the week. Just as we will do with the teaching and drills, the campers will be divided up into ages/skill levels to ensure healthy competition.

Director: The director is Team USA Member Quinn Carney.  We are very fortunate to have Quinn on board to director this camp because of her playing and coaching experience.

Quinn grew up in New Jersey and quickly became a dominate force in women's lacrosse.  She was a 2X All State performer in high school, 4X MVP of her team, and was named Honorable Mention All American her senior year. 

Quinn went on to play at Division I powerhouse, the Univ. of Maryland where she had a storied college career.  Her teams won the NCAA National Championship every season during her tenure at Maryland.  She was a 2X All American, 2X Academic All American, named to the All ACC Team, was the 2001 ACC Tournament MVP, and was named to the NCAA All Tournament team. 

Quinn now plays for the US Elite Team and has been since 2001.  During her college days, she was on the US Develpmental Team for 4 years. 

Quinn was the Asst. Coach at Stanford from 2001 to 2004 and a volunteer Asst. Coach with Cal from 2004 to 2006. 

Quinn has instructed at countless camps and clinics around the country and has a deep passion for passing on her knowledge and expertise to the next generation of girls lacrosse players.

About This Camp: This camp is geared towards all players who reside on the Peninsula. Whether you are a beginning player, an intermediate player, or an advanced player, this camp will teach you what you need in order to improve. Like many Lightning Lacrosse Camps, we will focus on the fundamentals but won't bore you with the same old drills you deal with all season long. We'll have knew fast paced drills that will keep you moving, keep your interest level high, and keep you having fun. Consistent with our teaching, we will divide the campers up into different age/skill levels to ensure healthy and positive competition.

Director: The camp director is current Asst. Coach with both the San Francisco Dragons and San Jose Stealth, Joe Romano.  Joe is also the former Notre Dame de Namur Head Coach. Joe was at the helm at Notre Dame for two years and had already succeeded in making an immediate impact. His team has gone from club status to the NCAA Division II level under his tenure. Before coming to Notre Dame, Joe was an asst. coach at Division III power Whittier College.

Staff: Will consist of players from both the San Francisco Dragons and San Jose Stealth!

We run through many college level drills/scenarios. We also share keys to getting in game shape, nutritional tips, and weight lifting programs.

Instructional Division - The Instructional Division is for players who are younger high school players who still need work on the fundamentals of the game (catching, throwing, scooping). We focus on improving stick skills and also will have a tournament so that the players can apply their new skills in a game scenario.

Youth/Middle School Division - For all youth and middle school players who want to improve and have fun! We focus on the fundamentals to ensure a positive learning experience. This group too will have a camp tournament.

About This Camp: The camp is for all lacrosse players in Orange County who want to improve their skills and have fun! This is primarily for players with prior experience. We want the youth campers to get ready for eventual high school play and we want the existing high school players to prepare for varsity and college play. We will continue to focus on the fundamentals but with an eye on advanced skills. We will cover all aspects of the game and keep the energy level throughout the week very upbeat and positive. Along with the great teaching, we will also implement a camp tournament where kids can compete with one another in mini competitions and scrimmages throughout the week. We will crown a tournament champion at each age/skill level at the end of camp.

Director: The director of this camp is Brad Reppert. Brad has been involved in playing, coaching, and refereeing for over 20 years. He is a referee in Orange County where he currently resides. Brad plays professionally for the San Francisco Dragons of the MLL and was one of their leading scorers last season. He played his college ball at Towson State University where he earned All American honors. This is Brad's second year running the camp at this great venue.

Duke Women - Girls Camp in Seattle

Camp Director: - Duke Asst. Coach - Alex Kahoe

Alex will enter her fourth season as a Duke women’s lacrosse assistant in 2009. She will work primarily with returning goalkeepers Kim Imbesi and Cassi Carley and freshman Mollie Mackler. Kahoe was previously on the staff at the University of Delaware, where she served as an Associate Head Coach in 2005 and assistant coach the previous two seasons.

A 2000 graduate of the University of Maryland with a bachelor’s degree in both criminal justice and sociology, Kahoe began her coaching career at her alma mater, serving as an assistant for head coach Cindy Timchal from 2000-2002. The Terrapins won their seventh straight national title in 2001 and advanced to the national quarterfinals in 2002.

Kahoe moved on to the University of Pennsylvania, where she served as an assistant coach under Karen Brower for the 2003 season. The Quakers posted a record of 6-10.

Kahoe enjoyed an outstanding career at Maryland as a goalkeeper, leading the Terrapins to five straight NCAA Division I national titles in 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000, three Atlantic Coast Conference titles, and a combined record of 100-5 during her tenure. She was a two-time team captain, earned All-America honors in 1998, 1999 and 2000, and was the NCAA Goalie of the Year her final two seasons. In addition, Kahoe was the 1997 ACC Rookie of the Year and the ACC Goalie of the Year three times. She was named to the ACC 50th Anniversary team in 2002. In the spring of 2006, she was selected to the NCAA 25th Anniversary All-Time Women’s Lacrosse team.

Still an active lacrosse player, Kahoe has been a member of the USA National Lacrosse Team since 1997 and has played with the Toyota Lacrosse Team since 2000. She was selected for and played on the 2005 U.S. World Cup training team, as well.

Staff: Will be compromised of other college coaches and players from Duke Univ.
