Program Director: Trey Whitty, another standout at UVA returns to co-direct this camp in 2012. A ’03 graduate of UVA, Coach Whitty was team captain in ’03 and National Champion. Coach Whitty is now Director of Alumni Relations for the St. Paul’s School in Baltimore, MD.
Program Director – Ken Clausen – 4X All-American at UVA – One of the best collegiate defensemen of all time. Ken is a current member of the Hamilton Nationals of the MLL. He was taken 5th in the MLL draft by the Denver Outlaws. Ken is also a Sales representative with Warrior and Brine Sports.
Lightning Lacrosse Advanced Session – In response to a growing number of better high school players in the state of Utah, Lightning Lacrosse is offering an advanced session for the serious high school player who already has the basic skills mastered. This program will teach the nuances of the game (time/room shooting, shooting on the run, defensive positioning, transition play, and more!). We teach position specific skills each morning, with a focus on 6 v 6 oriented concepts in the afternoon. Be sure to choose the “Advanced Session” during the registration if you have the basic skill mastered!
